Making the nice road trip down from Amman, we arrived in the ancient city of Petra, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. A vast canyon filled with caves and niches carved intricately inside cliffs and mountainsides, Petra was built thousands of years ago by the Nabataean people that inhabited the Levant region.
