Ruins & Revolutions: Giza & Cairo

In Cairo, we experienced the passion of the Egyptian Arab Spring first-hand, while sightseeing around Giza’s historic sites. Wanting to make sense of the Egyptian and greater Arab struggle for democracy, we ignored travel warnings & misconceptions abound in order to be a part of this historic revolution, learning quite a bit in the process. Naturally, we also spent time exploring the historic and monumental sites in Giza.
